Beyond the User Manual

We are industry professionals who spend our days consulting and manufacturing for commercial clients across the UK. Now, we are opening our laboratory doors to aspiring creators aged 12 and up.

This isn’t just about pressing “print.” Our comprehensive training takes students far beyond the user manual. From the first spark of inspiration and 3D scanning physical objects to mastering digital design and holding a finished, commercially printed product in your hands, we provide an immersive, hands-on experience that bridges the gap between imagination and engineering.

What Students Will Learn

Module 01: Basics of Additive Manufacturing
Understand core principles of additive manufacturing, material properties, and the differences between FDM, resin, and SLS printing processes.
Module 02: Introduction to 3D Scanning
Learn professional techniques for digitising physical objects into accurate, workable 3D meshes — from handheld scanning to post-processing captured data.
Module 03: Operating Professional Machines
Step up to commercial-grade equipment — not a hobby kit. Students operate the same machinery used in our real client workflows, learning safe and efficient machine handling.
Module 04: Post-Processing & Finishing
The final stage before a product is client-ready. Students learn cleaning, curing, sanding, painting, and quality inspection techniques used in professional production.
